Course Description - Spanish for Adults - Beginners - Term 1

Objectives

To create a solid communicational and grammatical foundation from which students can grow, on their journey to becoming fluent Spanish speakers, while engaging in interesting, entertaining and culturally informative activities.

The course is the first in a series of 3 courses at Beginner level, each lasting 12 weeks. This course is also suitable for those who just wish to gain a basic knowledge of Spanish for recreational purposes, such as holiday trips.

During the course, we use the latest in language teaching techniques and augment class-tuition with optional webinars, online education and social interaction.

The core syllabus consists of a weekly classroom lesson, in accordance with the course schedule, together with a monthly "social class" at an alternative venue (such as a cafe). It also includes optional, but free, fortnightly 20-minute conversation practice sessions with a Spanish speaker (not necessarily the course tutor). Students will require a computer and a Skype account for these.

Optional Extras Students may also take up the option of a licence for our online training package, together with additional 20 minute online conversation practice sessions in intermediate weeks. Prices on application.
