Profesor Yraida Sánches de Ramírez acts as Mi Mundo's education consultant. She is Venezuelan and a graduate in Spanish and Literature from the Instituto Pedagógico de Caraca. She holds a Master of Arts and PhD in Linguistics from the Catholic University of America (Washington D.C.).

Yraida has been a lecturer on undergraduate and graduate linguistic courses and at present lectures Spanish composition and grammar at Universidad Católica Andres Bello, in Caracas. She has penned a number of essays published in different specialised linguistic journals.
